CELTIC KORU - Merging the cultures found in New Zealand, European and Maori Art. 'Koru' (unfurling fern fronds) represent new beginnings. (10 x 35 x 45cms, 6.5kgs, 03/2002)

SAILS - Inspired by the bountiful flax plant of New Zealand. These 'flax - tips' lie on their sides, forming sails, capturing the wind. (30 x 35 x 60cms, 8kgs, 10/2001)

VESSEL - Also inspired by the flax plant of New Zealand, 'Vessel' has evolved into a hull shape. (7 x 35 x 45cms, 4kg, 11/2001)

LEAF - Autumnally inspired, scatter-blown, and now at rest. (7 x 35 x 50cms, 2kgs, 03/2002)

DROPLETS - The curvaceous shape of the Nikau Palm has developed into 'Droplets'.

	oamaru stone... Oamaru stone was formed on the East Coast of the South Island. Calciferous shells of marine animals and plants formed a limey seabed sediment. The stone has an infinite combination of colour and texture, a gift to both the sculptor and the viewer. For use inside and outside.
